Uyuni, fué un importante centro ferroviario, uno de los Primeros a Nivel Sud América. Su fundación y crecimiento se dio gracias al auge de los minerales y la explotación de las minas de plata en Huanchaca - Pulacayo. Hoy en día se ha convertido en una ciudad turística, siendo el punto de partida principal para realizar turismo hacia el Gran Salar de Uyuni y muchos otros atractivos de la región.

Train Cemetery

It is located outside of Uyuni City, it's a rusty iron bars pantheon, railway steam engines from the XIX century and coming from US and UK, where the mining boom hastened the arrival of the railways to Bolivia.

The Great Salt Flats of Uyuni (the largest in the world)

Incahuasi Island (Fish Island)
